There are a lot of puppy millers who have web sites that will show one puppy for sale, and sell that puppy online, and then ship a different one once they have received payment. They will also then bail out on any kind of agreement with buyers. Buying any kind of an animal online is risky business. I highly recommend when you are looking into buying a purebred dog (this is usually when people are looking to cut costs because the dogs tend to be less expensive) you meet with a breeder in person. Someone who comes recommended w/ several references.
There is is also a problem with buying dogs bred in Russia and shipping them into the US. They can have tons of health problems and again be it that the breeder is so far away or just doing bad business the new owner is left with a sick or sometimes dead animal. So sad.
There are of course exceptions to these stories. But the bad is so bad, it makes the good hard to see sometimes.
Also, there are email scams out of Nigeria that are puppy related. These are purely money related. I don’t think their are even puppies actually involved.

Be Careful – Avoid Make Money Scams
Saturday, September 11th, 2010Be Careful – Avoid Make Money Scams
The following tips will help you avoid most make money scams on the internet. However, something must first be said. Everybody and their brother will tell you they “got burnt” when the reality, they may not even be aware that they didn’t get scammed at all. The only reason they lost money was they didn’t get the instant gratification they were expecting, so they quit and probably went to some other program, which they quit working at as well, and now they say they were scammed again.
So, if you want to keep from getting burned, please do not burn yourself by turning into a serial program hopper. Realize, from the start, that things are going to be slower than you wish. If that is not okay with you, then simply do get involved. If this is the only advice you take from this article, then you may save yourself wasted years and untold thousands of dollars.
Let us divide, for the purpose of this discussion, internet money making into 2 basic categories, and then give examples of make money scams, in each. The first one is, work at home jobs, where you get paid for performing tasks. The other kind is, internet marketing, or online entrepreneurship.
There is more chance of high risk in the business venture category compared to the job seekers, since the job seekers are not dreaming of six or seven figure incomes, like the would-be entrepreneurs often do. Since their dreams are big, their risks might also be.
What are some of the main work at home, make money scams? Typing & data entry are two of the biggies. When you see these ads, they will generally take you to sales pages trying to get you to pay for information showing you how to make money with these type of jobs. When you pay for it, you get a report that tells you to “type” ads on the internet, for selling the same report you just paid for.
Legitimate data entry employment is very much like working at the company’s office. The screening & application process is very rigorous, stringent. They want references, and possibly experience or college education; and very likely, a criminal background investigation will be required.
With the sole exception of a criminal background check, no legitimate employer will require money from you. You need to be careful, since some scammers also ask for money for a criminal background check
Now for the entrepreneur, the best advice is simply to be aware that when propositions sound way too good to possibly be real, they almost never are genuine. Something about the internet makes people lose their basic common sense. For instance if some stranger knocked on your door and said if you give him a hundred dollars he will give you 0 next month, you might punch him in the face. But, log onto the internet and find a website making the same offer, and some people will fall for all the lies on the website. Look, it really is simple: If you would not do something in the offline world, then do not do it, simply because you are online. That little gem will help you avoid all kinds of make money scams.

Tips On How To Expose Internet Business Scams
Monday, August 30th, 2010Tips On How To Expose Internet Business Scams
When you are starting an internet business you are going to be exposed to a wide array of internet business scams. It is important that you are aware of these scams so you can expose them as a scam to avoid getting wrapped up into it.
This article will give you tips on how to expose internet business scams.
Before we get into the heart of the tips there are some basic things that you need to know. First, never give your credit card number to prove that you are 18 because you will most likely be charged without your knowledge.
Also, never buy “bargain” packages as these will usually contain hidden fees and make you pay continuity payments for the programs.
Tip 1- How to identify scams
There are many ways to identify a scam and you need to be aware of them so the home business opportunity you invest in will make you money instead of stealing your money. When you are looking into joining a “Get Rick Quick” opportunity it is crucial that you investigate the business thoroughly.
Do not allow yourself to become a victim to get rich quick scams when a little research will save you from it.
You know you are probably being scammed if you are being told you will earn huge money with little work. Every real business will require hard work to be successful. Another thing to avoid is 1-900 or 976 numbers which will charge you upwards of .00 to hear more information about a business scam.
Tip 2- Differences between a legitimate home business and a scam
The only way to actually tell the difference between a home business and a scam is to be careful and smart. Research into any opportunity you are considering. Even if you are sure it is a legitimate home business you should still research it to ensure it is. Internet business scams are the hottest scam around as millions of unsuspecting people flood the internet, so just be smart when looking for an opportunity.
Tip 3- Hard work, hard work, and hard work Creating your own online business is a hard and difficult process. There are legitimate offers available that can make running your business easier, but any legitimate business offer will take work. The easier things are the better right?
Unfortunately, scams understand that and use that to their advantage. If it seems to easy and good to be true it probably is and you need to avoid them. It is possible to find business opportunities available on the internet, just act smart and do your research. If you have a bad feeling about an opportunity avoid it, there will be others to replace it.
Be smart and follow the tips on how to expose internet business scams in this article and you can be on your way to finding a legitimate internet business.

ONLINE BUSINESS SCAMS
Wednesday, August 25th, 2010ONLINE BUSINESS SCAMS
Online Business Scams
Many people go online in search of easy money, but they come out thinking the idea of quit-your-job online income is just a scam.
The basic problem is that most people do not know what to look for when trying to find the “right” opportunity for them – most people see an add on television or online, but do not do the proper research to see if the program meets their needs or not. As a result, they end up spending valuable time and money on home business scams that end up going nowhere, and they fail to take any action.
Those who are just starting out looking at online business opportunities can benefit from a list of a few simple “tests” that often separate legitimate systems from scams and time-wasters.
http://januszek13.zerofm.hop.clickbank.net
First, how expensive is the program? In any business, you are trying to make a profit. Always be realistic about how much you can afford to spend, and if the pricetag is more than you make in two months, it is probably a good idea to walk away.
Second, is there an actionable plan in the program? Many “make money online” only give you general information but never really tell you what to do, much less when to do it. If you are going to start an online business, you need to have a realistic plan.
Third, does the program have a money-back guarantee? If a seller is confident in their product and confident that you will be satisfied with it and actually have a decent shot of making money, there should be a guarantee of at least 30 days attached.
Next, how much does the sales letter promise you will earn? Everyone wants to make millions of dollars, but it is not terribly realistic to make seven figures in your first month, or even your first year. Try to find a program that doesn’t hang its sales pitch on trying to make you believe you will be sipping cocktails in the Caribbean by the time you are through reading it.
Finally, ask yourself if the system is right for you. There are many, many ways to make money on the Internet, and the key to any of them is your ability to follow through and take action to make them work for you. Even if it’s not a scam, if you don’t think you can stick to it, keep looking.
Far too many people just dream of having a successful business online, but once they buy a product it just sits on their hard drive or in their garage with no action being taken. Money will not fall from the sky: Find something you can set your mind to, and then commit to it.
